A true meaning of being spritual.

Image
A true meaning of being spritual. Meditation may seem to be one of the most difficult habits to form, for the beginner is subject to many delusive thoughts about getting speedy results. The results of meditation come slow, but sure. Many novices desire some form of spiritual “entertainment.” Others expect their efforts to be rewarded right away with the manifestation of heavenly lights, saints, and deities; but this expectation is premature. Real visions come by prolonged and steady spiritual advancement. - Paramhansa Yogananda ๐ŸŒบ

The last shloka of the Saraswati Suktam of Rig Veda 1.3.10 mentions Sarasvati as a goddess of Knowledge and intellect- “O Saraswati, You are the purifier (of our Intellect), and your Strength (of Wisdom) grows within us with Sacrificial Offerings (inner and outer), May my offering in yagnya strengthen Your Wisdom within me“ The same Rig Veda in 1.3.12 describes Goddess Sarasvati as a River- “Saraswati, that Great Wave (of Universal Wisdom) (Who has flowed as a River) and Who is the awakener of our Intellect, is (now) shining as the embodiment of Universal Wisdom (in this Yagnya)."  The sacred syllable AUM comprises three sounds: A, U, and M, which are pronounced as "aaah," "oooh," and "mmm" respectively. A represents the first guttural sound, the very first sound that humans can utter, while M represents the last labial sound. U is the sound produced by rolling the breath over the entire tongue. The combination of these three fundamental sounds is believed to encompass the essence of all sounds that humans can articulate, making it the most suitable sound symbol of Brahman. According to Taittiriya Upanishad 1.8.1-"we open the mouth (a), move the lips closer to each other (u) & then close the mouth (m). This activates the larynx fully. ‘A’ resonates in the stomach and chest, ‘u’ in the throat and chest, and ‘m’ in the nasal cavity, skull, and brain. By chanting Aum we move the energy from the abdomen up to the brain." Moreover, the syllable AUM represents several important triads: 1. Worlds - Earth, Atmo
