"we cannot lose what really belongs to us,

"We cannot lose what really belongs to us, even if we throw it away". This quote holds meaning on many levels. In the most basic and everyday interpretation, it may signify a lost object, the keys or a mobile phone. But, Like the Sun, these things have "gone west" ( as a relative used to say) and, like the Sun they will soon return after their journey in the dark. (We need have no anxiety). On a more personal note, it can signify a strong relationship with a loved one, or a deep connection between 2 people, on an individual level. This connection can never be lost, and no matter the metaphorical distance put between them the light of the Sun will always return to shine on another day. On the world stage I would liken this allegory to the loss of the Sacred ancient knowledge. This Deep truth that belongs to the whole of Humanity cannot be lost, for it belongs to us all! "We cannot lose what really belongs to us, even if we throw it away. Therefore we need have n...

our food is El-ectric.

Image
Our food is El-ectric. The Earth is El-ectric, our food is El-ectric and we are El-ectric. The food we consume directly affects our PH balance. In turn, this chemical balancing directly affects the electrical charge of our cells. When our diet is kept to mainly clean, fresh, whole foods (avoiding processing) we help to maintain this internal balance and so aid in our connection not only to ourselves - body/spirit or matter/energy but also to our Earth. The food we consume is grown on or raised on this Earth. (Mother Earth). This connection is an obvious one, but one that is often overlooked, taken for granted or distracted from in our busy modern lives. Becoming aware of our food and really remembering its true value and importance is a good way to help build this connection, both with Mother Earth and within ourselves. (This remembering should be done with intention). This connection with the Earth through the mindful consumption of her natural produce was practiced and promoted by ma...

self decipline.

For a fair chance of success in life, I made out the following as indispensable: a) Purpose: An intense and genuine purpose will drive for action wading through challenges and difficulties. A journey with less sense of purpose will soon loose steam to fall back. b) Faith: It is probably the single most ingredient to stay on the course despite all odds. It's the self-belief that is willing to withstand any adversity to reach the goal. c) Discipline: Irrespective of the capability, skills and exposure, not staying disciplined to the daily actions would soon loose the sight of purpose and hence goals. Staying disciplined helps in gradual progress and a very difficult, arduous journey seems simple. What are your keys decision making indicators to stay in the course?  Would love to learn yours.

how mature in meditation.

SCIENTISTS UNRAVEL AN INTRIGUING LINK BETWEEN MEDITATION AND IMMUNITY This was for a long time suspected that meditation boots immune system. Now  in an experiment carried out on a group of people, it is found how meditation affects the brain—and that it could help maintain a robust and healthy immune system. Meditation seemed to activate genes associated with the immune system. Specifically, researcher Vijayendran Chandran, a neuroscientist at the University of Florida has found 220 genes that are involved in generating an immune response as a consequence of meditation!

Socrates is one of the few individuals whom one could say has so-shaped the cultural and intellectual development of the world that, without him, history would be profoundly different. He is best known for his association with the Socratic method of question and answer, his claim that he was ignorant (or aware of his own absence of knowledge), and his claim that the unexamined life is not worth living, for human beings. He was the inspiration for Plato, the thinker widely held to be the founder of the Western philosophical tradition. Plato in turn served as the teacher of Aristotle, thus establishing the famous triad of ancient philosophers: Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. Unlike other philosophers of his time and ours, Socrates never wrote anything down but was committed to living simply and to interrogating the everyday views and popular opinions of those in his home city of Athens. At the age of 70, he was put to death at the hands of his fellow citizens on charges of impiety a...

supercomputer and quantam simulations.

Supercomputer and quantum simulations solve a difficult problem of materials science by Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology Understanding the structural properties of molecules found in nature or synthesized in the laboratory has always been the bread and butter of materials scientists. But, with advancements in science and technology, the endeavor has become even more ambitious: discovering new materials with highly desirable properties. To accomplish such a feat systematically, materials scientists rely upon sophisticated simulation techniques that incorporate the rules of quantum mechanics, the same rules which govern the molecules themselves.

Happy birthday to the National Security Advisor (NSA) to the Prime Minister of India, Shri Ajit Doval! Ajit Doval has done much to streamline security spectre and transformed the security paradigm of India, who instills a sense of fear and angst in enemy cadres across the boader.  The Balakot surgical strikes on terrorists training camp in Pakistan was hallmark of Doval's profusely audacious stint, executed with surgical precision by the army. Most notably, rampant acts of terrorism that used to be casual ritual perpetrated by enemy during UPA rule have since disappeared due to astute security management by NSA Doval! May you live long to make India secure and strong!
