This is a good practice to help open up these energetic pathways of the body.

Stand feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent with the hips tucked in gently.

The spinal column should be straight and slightly extended. It should be led upwards with the head, with the chin tucked in softly.

(This starting body posture is good for all energy work; it aids in the smooth flow of the energy).

Bring the hands up to the chest and cross them at the Heart Centre. Let the hands relax naturally in position.

Remember to breathe deeply but gently through the nose, into the belly.

The tongue should be lifted to the roof of the mouth to complete the energetic circuit.

Begin to apply gentle pressure at the tips of the fingers. It may take a little time to find your own particular spot, once found be sure to re-adjust your position. (Pay particular attention to the hips).

Breathing can be synchronised with the applied pressure. Gentle rocking of the Spine and Hips may also bring extra release.

Whilst in this location the wrists and palms are ideally positioned to access the Thymus gland and heart centre.

Applied Pressure can be alternated between the two points for added benefit. Or all locations can be accessed simultaneously.

When applying pressure to these locations it is not only the inward push that opens up the pathways. To maximise the release of energy we need to apply only gentle pressure inward, accompanying this with a gentle downward pull.

(push in gently and pull down gently).

All of these exercises are designed to relieve pressure and alleviate internal stresses.

Personal circumstance, situation, location and disposition should be taken into account.

For full effect and benefit the practice should be entered upon when at peace, at a quiet time, a time of little or no distraction.

When applying these practices we are working with the parasympathetic nervous system.

The parasympathetic nervous system is the rest and recovery apparatus of our bodies El-ectrical internal structure. (which is directly connected to our external environment).

Working with the parasympathetic nervous system is extremely beneficial to health, wellbeing and cognisance.
